“Manda Koso” is a botanical fermented food produced using more than 53 kinds of raw materials, e.g., brown sugar, fruit, root vegetables, cereals, edible algae, etc., through a spontaneous fermentation process lasting over 3 years and 3 months. For the selection of raw materials, proprietary criteria have been established to utilize ingredients full of the nutrient of the earth of the Innoshima Island and those brimming with the best of seasonal life force as much as possible. Consistent production systems are in operation entirely in our domestic plants, from the supply/preparation of raw materials to the shipment.

Our plants are open year round for observation tour. In addition to the tour of Manda Koso production plants, you really must see our farms full of vigorous food crops.
